"VERIVERY" (베리베리) is a South Korean boy group under Jellyfish Entertainment. The group consists of seven members: Dongheon, Hoyoung, Minchan, Gyehyeon, Yeonho, Yongseung and Kangmin. They debuted with their 1st mini album (EP) "VERI-US" on January 9, 2019.
Etymology[]
"VERIVERI" is a combination word of the Latin word "VERI" that means "Truth" and the English word "VERY" that means "Truly". "VERI" also stands for Various, Energetic, Real, Innovation; which means that they are a group to show a various energy and innovations.
History[]
Pre-Debut: NOW VERIVERY and Super Special[]
On August 23, 2018, Jellyfish Entertainment confirmed that they are going to debut their 1st boy group in six years since VIXX that they have been preparing for a long time. Later they announced that the group is called "VERIVERY".
On September 3, Jellyfish Entertainment announced that VERIVERY will have they're own pre-debut reality show called "NOW VERIVERY" on Mnet and started to introduce the members through teasers. On September 21, VERIVERY released the OST "Super Special" for the show along with a music video for it.
2019: Debut with VERI-US, VERI-ABLE, VERI-CHILL[]
On January 9, 2019, VERIVERY debuted with their 1st mini album "VERI-US" and the title track "Ring Ring Ring". They also made a showcase for the album. They had their first debut stage on Mnet's music program "M! Countdown" on January 10, 2019.
On April 24, VERIVERY made their first comeback with their 2nd mini album "VERI-ABLE" and the title track "From Now". They had their first comeback stage on Mnet's music program "M! Countdown" on April 25, 2019.
On July 31, VERIVERY released their 1st single album "VERI-CHILL" and the title track "Tag Tag Tag". They had their first comeback stage on KBS' music program "Music Bank" on August 2.
2020: FACE ME, FACE YOU, FACE US[]
On January 6, 2020, VERIVERY released their 3rd mini album "FACE ME" and the title track "Lay Back".
On July 1, VERIVERY released their 4th mini album "FACE YOU" and the title track "Thunder".
On October 13, VERIVERY released their 5th mini album "FACE US" and the title track "G.B.T.B.".
2021: Series 'O' Round 1: Hall, Series 'O' Round 2: Hole[]
On March 2, 2021, VERIVERY released their 2nd Single Album "Series 'O' Round 1: Hall" and its title track "Get Away". On August 23, they released their 6th mini album "Series 'O' Round 2: Hole" and its title track "Trigger".
2022: Series 'O' Round 0: Who, Series 'O' Round 3: Whole[]
On March 23, 2022, VERIVERY released their 1st digital single album "Series 'O' Round 0: Who" and the title track "O". On April 25, they will then release their first full-length album "Series 'O' Round 3: Whole" and the title track "Undercover".
